The TNA says that it is hopeful about new Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Panneer Selvam.

TNA MP Suresh Premachandran said that he hoped that the new chief minister too would continue the intervention which Jayalalithaa had offered on behalf of the Tamil community in the North.

However, Minister Wimal Weerawanse spoke about Jayalalitha’s stance against Sri lanka during a function held yesterday.
